Her Story Quest — Fitness as Romantasy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

Weapon and Flame ("the Service", "we", "us") is operated by Karla Andrew as a sole trader ("the Seller"). By creating an account or using the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with Karla Andrew.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service. You confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement, or, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. The Service

Weapon and Flame is a story-driven fitness companion that turns exercise goals into daily quests, chapters, and collectible progress. Certain features (all realms, seasonal story arcs, unlimited quests, digital collectibles, guild access) are only available on paid tiers.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
  • Send spam, harass other users, or post infringing or illegal content;
  • Infringe our or any third party's intellectual property rights;
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — including uploading malware, probing for vulnerabilities, scraping at scale, or circumventing technical limits or access controls;
  • Resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, artwork, quest text, story content, branding, and documentation, is owned by Karla Andrew and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in line with your selected plan. All other rights are reserved.

7. User content

You retain ownership of the notes, reflections, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled.

Paid monthly tiers renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the current period. One-time lifetime purchases and add-ons never renew — see section 9.

9. Lifetime memberships and add-ons

We offer one-time "lifetime" purchases — currently Lifetime Chosen One, Lifetime High Fae, and Lifetime Founder — as well as one-time add-ons (for example the Book II Lifetime Pass, the Collector's Vault Pack, and the Chronicle Credit). These are single payments; they do not renew and we will not bill you again for the same purchase.

What "lifetime" means. A lifetime purchase grants the access described on the pricing page, with no expiry date, for as long as Weapon and Flame continues to operate as a service. It is a licence to use the Service, not a transfer of ownership of any content, and it is personal to your account — it cannot be sold, shared, or transferred. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Service, not to your lifetime or ours.

Add-ons for future content. Some add-ons are clearly labelled "Coming soon" and deliver nothing at the time of purchase. You are buying a commitment that the content will be included at no extra cost if and when it is released. We do not guarantee a release date. If an add-on is cancelled and never released, you may request a refund of that add-on's price, and we will honour that request regardless of how long ago it was bought.

Changes to what is included. We may add to what a lifetime level includes. We will not remove content that your level already unlocked at the time of purchase. If a feature must be retired for legal, security, or technical reasons, we will say so in advance and, where reasonable, offer an equivalent.

If the Seller stops operating the Service. Weapon and Flame is run by one person and could one day close, be sold, or be handed on. If we decide to shut the Service down, or if we become unable to keep running it, the following applies to lifetime purchasers:

  • We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice by email and in-app before access ends;
  • Before access ends we will make the story chapters your level had unlocked available to download as files (for example PDF), together with an export of your quest history and notes, so that what you paid to read stays with you;
  • If the Service closes within twelve (12) months of your lifetime purchase, you may request a pro-rated refund of that purchase, and we will process it through Paddle. After twelve months, a lifetime purchase is treated as fully delivered and refunds are at our discretion — but undelivered "Coming soon" add-ons remain refundable as described above;
  • If the Service is sold or transferred to another operator, we will require the new operator to honour existing lifetime access on the same terms, or to offer refunds on the basis above;
  • If we die or become permanently incapacitated, our estate will use reasonable efforts to publish the download archive described above; we cannot guarantee continued operation of the Service in those circumstances.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights, or the refund rights you have under our Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms. Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refunds for lifetime purchases are processed by Paddle.

10. Service availability

We work to keep the Service running smoothly but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Health disclaimer

Weapon and Flame is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. The quests and guidance are for general fitness and entertainment purposes only. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise programme.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. Where reasonable, we will let you know first. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may request an export of your notes for a reasonable period before deletion.

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your user content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's country of residence, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

17. Assignment & force majeure

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
